Harrison Butker, Saying What Others Have Not
A Change.org Petition has 35k+ Signatures Demanding Butker be Dismissed as the Kansas City Chiefs
I do not follow professional, or collegiate, sports. We are very active with our kids sports. Not crazy, body damaging travel ball but team and individual, skill and character building sports.
My husband played at both levels and it’s just not an important thing for us. The NFL is a disappointment that I stopped watching years ago.
Until this week I had never heard of Harrison Butker. Harrison is the Kicker for the Kansas City Chiefs. He’s obviously a devout Catholic.
Last Saturday, Harrison delivered a commencement speech at the private liberal arts Catholic college in Kansas, Benedictine College.
A petition with over 30k signatures, demanding Harrison be dismissed from the Kansas City Chiefs continues to grow. This was all because of what was said by Harrison, during that speech.
Keep in mind this was a Catholic man speaking to a class of Catholics. Much of what he said should be something one would hear during a church service but these things very few churches speak of. I’m not Catholic, I didn’t know what TLM ( Traditional Latin Masses) was or much else about the doctrine that he follows, but I do know the remainder of what Harrison covered needs to be said, and heard.
He called out the concerns with leaders of the church, the threat of DEI obscuring truths, the roles of women and men.
No where did he say women belong in the kitchen but did say his wife found her purpose with being a homemaker. How many wish they could say the same. We are faced with working when many want to be the best mother, teacher, supporter than can but instead they have to go outside of the home to make an income.
Harrison also urges men not to run from their masculinity. I just wrote about the need for men, fathers, in this country. The decline of the family unit continues. Friends and work are prioritized, over marriage and children. This is how society crumbles. You can read that on Substack here: Wanted: God Give Us Men!
Blessed are you when others revile you and persecute you and utter all kinds of evil against you falsely on my account. - Matthew 5:11
If you cannot see what is being done to our species maybe this visual will help. No wonder brith rates continue to plummet and we are introducing “concepts” like factory farms for babies. Another thing I wrote about in 2022, find that here: EctoLife: Concept for Artificial Womb Factory Unveiled
Here is an edit of the speech.

Hate Filled Posts, Directed at Me
Why I even engage with the vile on here is the question. I actually have the hope that kindness can help others. The attack of those that follow the teachings of Jesus Christ will only continue. Only one can be served regardless of what people believe, this is the reality.
When there is an organized attack against someone for speaking about aspects of faith, to another group that have the same beliefs of that faith, it shows you where we are at. Break down continues as the appeals of the flesh supersede that of Salvation.
After asking me for the numbers I referred to in my Substack post, which are from the 2022 census I provide this response:
This will only continue...
Indeed, all who desire to live a godly life in Christ Jesus will be persecuted, - 2 Timothy 3:12
Christian Persecution
What is considered persecution? In this post from 2015 gives an overview. Not every conflict experienced is persecution but one does not need to experience violence to be persecuted.
Persecution comes is reserved for opposition that arises because of devotion to Christ.
Christian persecution can include a wide variety of responses to believers—from scorn, hatred, and ridicule to physical violence, imprisonment, and death. But for such opposition, no matter how mild or severe, to be regarded as persecution in the biblical sense, it must be provoked by the believer's devotion to Jesus Christ and His righteousness.
